Hyderabad, June 8 (NationPress) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA representing the Jubilee Hills constituency in Hyderabad, Maganti Gopinath, has sadly passed away on Sunday after suffering a severe heart attack three days prior. He was 63 years old.
He took his last breath at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli, where he had been admitted on June 5 due to the heart attack.
At the time of his passing, he was in critical condition and reliant on a ventilator. A bulletin from the hospital confirmed that he was declared deceased around 5:45 a.m.
Gopinath, who had been serving the Jubilee Hills constituency since 2014, was also battling a kidney-related issue after undergoing surgery a few months back.
He leaves behind his wife and three children. The final rites are expected to take place later today.
Having been re-elected as MLA on the BRS ticket in 2023, Gopinath also held the position of president of the party's Hyderabad unit.
