Gorakhpur, Jan 7 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, visited temporary night shelters in Gorakhpur on Wednesday. He urged officials to guarantee that no individual is compelled to sleep outside amid the intense cold wave affecting the state.
During his visit to the night shelters located at Bargadwa and Raptinagar, the Chief Minister evaluated the available facilities, engaged with the residents, and distributed blankets and food to those residing at the shelters and others in need outside.
Post-inspection, CM Yogi emphasized that strict directives have been communicated to district administrations, municipal corporations, municipal councils, and local entities to prevent anyone from sleeping on the streets, footpaths, or railway tracks.
