Aizawl, Nov 9 (NationPress) The intense campaigning for the upcoming bye-election in Mizoram's Dampa Assembly constituency, scheduled for November 11, concluded on Sunday after more than a month of vigorous efforts.
On the last day of campaigning, various political entities, including the ruling Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) and the leading opposition Mizo National Front (MNF), organized grand rallies and engaged in door-to-door outreach to sway voters.
In addition to state leaders, BJP figures and Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju (Union Minister for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs) and Jitendra Singh (Union Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences) made appearances in Mizoram to support their party's candidate.
