New Delhi, April 25 (NationPress) In a statement made on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that her administration will commemorate the foundation day of all states within Delhi to celebrate the rich diversity of cultures and to cultivate a sense of pride among its citizens.

While speaking at the 'Viksit Bharat Dialogue' hosted by the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini at the Constitution Club, CM Gupta remarked: "The BJP government has made the decision to celebrate the foundation day of every state in Delhi to recognize the diverse cultures and instill a sense of pride among its residents."

She further elaborated on the government’s aspirations for a developed Delhi, emphasizing that the journey towards a developed India begins in Delhi and underscored ongoing efforts to enhance the city’s infrastructure and aesthetic appeal.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva also participated in the event, which was presided over by former Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Vinay Sahastrabuddhe.

Sachdeva noted that the quest for a developed India, which commenced 11 years ago, necessitates the unity of all states. He pointed out that initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi such as ‘Startup India’ and ‘Skill India’ have produced favorable outcomes, improving the nation’s global standing.

In a related initiative, the Delhi BJP organized ‘Samman Abhiyan Seminars’ at four different venues to commemorate Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti.

During a seminar held in Rajendra Nagar, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh addressed the audience alongside New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj.

The State General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia, who served as the event’s convener, mentioned that in addition to Rajendra Nagar, seminars were also conducted in the Mundka Assembly constituency, with participation from BJP National Secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar and National President of SC Morcha Lal Singh Arya.

In the Ambedkar Nagar Assembly constituency, Rajasthan Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa and former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri were in attendance.

Speaking at the Rajendra Nagar event, Tarun Chugh stated that ‘Samman Abhiyan Seminars’ are taking place nationwide to honor the legacy of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

He asserted that it is the BJP government that has genuinely honored Babasaheb’s contributions to the nation.
