New Delhi, Feb 14 (NationPress) On Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially launched 120 mist spray systems located at Indira Gandhi International Airport, as confirmed by an official statement.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the government is adopting a scientific approach towards pollution management through short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategies.

“This mist spray program signifies a crucial advancement in our efforts to mitigate air pollution in the national capital, ensuring a clean and healthy atmosphere for travelers,” she remarked.

The Chief Minister further emphasized that the Delhi government aims to achieve complete electrification of the public bus fleet by 2029, enhance the Metro network, create EV charging facilities, deploy over 1,000 water sprinklers across the city, and utilize AI-driven dust monitoring at construction sites.

She asserted that these initiatives will not only drastically cut down pollution levels but also contribute to making Delhi one of the most livable cities in India.
