New Delhi, May 26 (NationPress) The Rekha Gupta administration is set to host the Delhi Industrial Ideathon 2025, featuring a remarkable reward pool of Rs 80 lakh aimed at attracting innovative solutions to tackle the challenges faced by the city’s industries, as announced by Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa.
Sirsa explained that the Delhi Industrial Ideathon 2025, a flagship program by the Department of Industries, Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, and prominent educational institutions, is scheduled for July-August.
“The goal is to unite the brightest student talents to create innovative solutions that tackle critical industrial hurdles,” stated Sirsa.
The Delhi Industrial Ideathon 2025 will feature a total prize fund exceeding Rs 80 lakh, including Rs 10 lakh for the top winner, Rs 7.5 lakh for the runner-up, and Rs 5 lakh for the second runner-up, along with several consolation prizes. This competition is exclusively available to student teams from colleges and universities. The top winners will also benefit from mentoring and potential partnerships with state agencies for project execution.
Anticipation surrounds the participation of 120 teams from over 30 leading institutions, with hundreds of students engaged in an exciting two-day innovation challenge.
The event will accept teams of 2 to 4 students, requiring at least one female participant and ideally featuring members from various disciplines, representing top technology and management universities and colleges.
