New Delhi, Sep 3 (NationPress) In an effort to transform the Delhi Police from the ground up, Commissioner Satish Golcha has called upon all personnel to share their innovative ideas aimed at enhancing the efficiency of policing in the capital.

As per an official announcement from the Commissioner's office, a specific email address - cpsecretariatinnovation@gmail.com - has been established to gather suggestions focused on technological advancements, procedural enhancements, and innovative practices that could fortify policing in Delhi.

The communication, directed at senior officials from Special Commissioners to Inspectors, emphasizes that each suggestion must be presented as a concept note, addressing four essential aspects.

These include: the current state of affairs, identification of existing challenges, proposed solutions by the staff, and the anticipated benefits and quality improvements stemming from these initiatives.

The letter, authored by the OSD of CP, specifies that all submissions should be sent by September 20, 2025.

Police personnel are encouraged to engage actively in this initiative. The note underscores that input from staff at every level is crucial for enhancing not only internal operations but also the public-facing services of the Delhi Police.

Additionally, the communication stated that the CP Secretariat, under DCP/Crime, will systematically compile and maintain records of all incoming responses.

A senior officer remarked that this initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to modernize the functioning of the Delhi Police, adding that such collaborative endeavors enable field personnel to highlight real-world challenges and propose viable solutions.

Satish Golcha is a distinguished IPS officer from the 1992 batch.

Recognized for his integrity and unwavering dedication, Golcha's elevation to this prominent position follows his service as the Director General (Prisons) for the Delhi government.

With a strong reputation for exemplary administrative skills and professionalism, Golcha has been at the forefront of significant investigations, including the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

He is also renowned for his leadership roles as Special CP (Intelligence) and Special CP (Law & Order) within the Delhi Police, as well as for his tenure as Director General of Police in Arunachal Pradesh and during his time with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Born on April 30, 1967, Golcha became a member of the Indian Police Service on October 11, 1992, representing the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory cadre.
