New Delhi, March 23 (NationPress) A shootout took place between the Delhi Police Special Cell and a pair of criminals in the Dwarka region of the national capital on Saturday night, resulting in injuries to both suspects.
Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds to their legs, with one shot in both limbs. They are reported to be sharpshooters affiliated with the notorious gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi.
The police had received numerous complaints concerning their activities.
This confrontation unfolded when the Special Cell team acted on intelligence indicating that these criminals were hiding in the Dwarka area. The operation, led by Delhi Police Special Cell ACP Sanjay Dutt and Inspector Sandeep Dabas, involved cordoning off the area and requesting the criminals to surrender.
