Mumbai, Nov 27 (NationPress) Dhanush shared insights about his unforgettable character Kundan from “Raanjhanaa”, revealing why this role remains significant in his life.

In a recent Instagram post, the actor expressed that his character Kundan clings to him even after more than ten years. He wrote, “A stroll down memory lane, where it all began. Kundan. A character that refuses to release me, even after more than a decade. The name Kundan still resonates in the narrow streets of Banaras as people call out to me, and I can’t help but turn and smile.”

“Now, as I traverse these same lanes, sitting in front of the same house, sipping chai from the same tea shop, and walking by the banks of the sacred Ganges with the man who gifted me Kundan, it feels like a full circle. Now it’s time for Shankar. Tere ishk mein … FROM TOM. Har Har Mahadev.”

In some photos, Dhanush is seen alongside filmmaker Aanand L. Rai. Interestingly, “Tere Ishq Mein” reunites Aanand L. Rai, Dhanush, and A.R. Rahman once again after their successful collaborations on “Raanjhanaa” and “Atrangi Re.” The movie also stars Kriti Sanon in the leading role and serves as the spiritual sequel to the blockbuster ‘Raanjhanaa.’

Kriti Sanon previously expressed her admiration for Aanand L. Rai, sharing her excitement to work with him for years. At the trailer launch, she noted that being part of a love story directed by him was always a dream of hers.

“This journey actually commenced years ago. I have met Anand sir numerous times and was persistent in my request to him. Sir, I want to be part of a love story that you direct. It has always been on my wish list. I have a fondness for love stories, and I’m not sure why.”

“Tere Ishk Mein” is scheduled for release on November 28, 2025.
