Jaipur, Oct 1 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, has launched a severe critique of the Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra, accusing him of entrenched corruption and hypocrisy.
In response to Dotasra's recent comments, Dilawar stated, “Only Govind Dotasra can fabricate lies and deceit even on his own birthday. The politics of Congress is intertwined with corruption and double standards.”
He further claimed that under the previous Congress administration, the Education Department became a center for corruption, with significant irregularities in teacher transfers.
“Dotasra transformed the Education Department into a haven for exploitation,” he asserted, indicating that transfers were blatantly sold during his leadership.
Recalling a Teachers’ Day event from the time of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Dilawar remarked, “Teachers openly informed the CM that money was being solicited for transfers. Dotasra’s pride should have diminished that day.”
In contrast, he asserted that under the current BJP government, guided by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, all transfers are executed with absolute transparency and based on merit. “The BJP is dedicated to honest governance,” he emphasized.
Dilawar also suggested that Dotasra is distressed about losing power, commenting, “His true anguish isn’t about losing the election — it’s about losing the chance to profit. His political career has always revolved around money and positions.”
He referenced a report from Transparency International, claiming it ranked Rajasthan as the top state for corruption related to transfers during the Congress regime.
In response to Dotasra's criticism of weapon worship (Shastra Poojan), Dilawar countered, “Demons fear weapons, and Congress is troubled by our traditions. Worshipping weapons is a proud aspect of Indian culture and will persist despite Congress’s disapproval.”
Dilawar's statements add to the ongoing exchange of accusations between the ruling BJP in Rajasthan and the opposition Congress, as both parties gear up for significant electoral challenges ahead.
