Gor took to X to share insights from their dinner, where he remarked, "Just had an incredible dinner with President Trump. We discussed his unwavering commitment to global stability, the remarkable accomplishments of his presidency, the bright future of India-US relations, and much more! A truly unforgettable evening as history unfolded before our eyes."

Shortly after this, Trump announced a two-week halt on planned military actions against Iran, while Tehran expressed a willingness to consider reopening the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, hinting at a potential de-escalation of tensions.

In another meeting, Gor connected with US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to deliberate on enhancing the commercial ties between India and the United States, including strategies to broaden access to a significant consumer market.

The US Department of Commerce later announced that Lutnick and Gor are collaborating to advance a broader trade framework between the two nations.
