Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika Hits Back at Pawan Khera with Tutorial on Creating 'Pawan Peda LLC'
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Guwahati, April 9 (NationPress) Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika has fiercely criticized Congress leader Pawan Khera, accusing him of disseminating falsehoods concerning purportedly fictitious companies and addresses. In a bid to demonstrate the simplicity of creating such entities online, Hazarika shared a screen-recorded video.
In his post on X late Wednesday, Hazarika revealed a video that illustrates the step-by-step method of registering a company named Pawan Peda LLC via the Wyoming Secretary of State's official website in the United States.
The video seemingly utilized fictional addresses and organizers, serving as a satirical rebuttal to Khera's claims. Through this screen-recording, the BJP leader aimed to convey that establishing such companies is a straightforward online process and that their mere existence does not necessarily indicate wrongdoing. He charged Khera and the Congress party with spreading misinformation regarding these “fictitious companies”.
“In a desperate attempt to evade accountability, Mr. Pawan Khera has unleashed another series of fabrications today from the Congress handle concerning new addresses and fictitious company details. Hence, I conducted a brief investigation and set up a new company named Pawan Peda in Wyoming with fabricated details,” Hazarika stated in his post on X.
“Watch this video for shocking insights and a detailed guide on how to create a company as a homage to these deceivers. Congress, try to have some dignity left,” he added.
The Minister further asserted that the video exemplifies how a Domestic Limited Liability Company (LLC) can be established on the official Wyoming Secretary of State platform with invented names and addresses, bolstering his argument that such registrations are not inherently alarming.
This development arises amid a growing political controversy ignited after Khera's press conference on Sunday, where he made serious allegations against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma.
Khera alleged that she possessed three passports, owned undisclosed luxury properties in Dubai, and was linked to shell companies in the United States.
In the wake of these accusations, Khera has come under scrutiny from the Assam Police and faces charges under multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including defamation, forgery, and criminal conspiracy.
On Tuesday, Assam Police carried out searches at Khera's residence in Delhi, and on Wednesday, barricades were reportedly erected outside his home in Hyderabad as part of the ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile, Khera, who has been unreachable since his press conference in the poll-bound state, released a video statement asserting that he would not be intimidated and will continue to question the matters at hand.
