In a recent announcement, he has prohibited the act of throwing coloured water or any other substances at people, vehicles, or locations without consent, particularly in public areas.

During a video conference with police officials, he conducted a review meeting at the Integrated Command and Control Centre, instructing officers to focus on Visible Policing to prevent any disturbances during the celebrations.
He highlighted that Blue Colts and patrolling teams must remain vigilant throughout the city. The Commissioner reiterated that forcibly applying colours to unwilling individuals will not be tolerated and that throwing colours in public spaces or onto vehicles is prohibited. Additionally, SHE Teams will monitor the city to prevent any indecent behavior towards women.
The public is encouraged to opt for natural colours instead of chemical ones, and there will be no permissions granted for DJs during the festivities. Vehicles will be confiscated if groups of youths are found causing disturbances on the streets.
In celebration of Holi, restrictions have been placed on liquor outlets, toddy compounds, bars, and restaurants within the Hyderabad Commissionerate jurisdiction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Violators of these regulations during Holi will face charges under the City Police Act. Citizens are advised to contact Dial 100 if any law-and-order issues arise within the city. The Commissioner has called upon residents to cooperate with law enforcement for a joyful celebration.
