Mumbai, Jan 26 (NationPress) Ibrahim Ali Khan was recently spotted outside his father Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's residence in Bandra. He displayed his typical laid-back style in a blue shirt, white trousers, and coordinating sneakers. According to the circulating video on social media, Ibrahim refrained from speaking with the paparazzi but acknowledged them courteously before entering the building.
Earlier today, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were also photographed stepping out together for the first time since the alarming stabbing incident. The 'Aarakshan' actor donned a blue T-shirt and matching jeans. Accompanying him, Kareena Kapoor appeared relaxed in a gray sweatshirt, black baggy trousers, and a sports cap. The Bollywood duo was under heavy security. Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been assigned temporary police protection following the attack.
In a shocking incident, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times in the early hours of January 16, 2025, at his Bandra residence during a robbery attempt. He has since undergone two surgeries at Lilavati Hospital.
The Association of Medical Consultants Mumbai expressed concerns to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) regarding the swift approval of insurance claims. Health insurance expert Nikhil Jha shared the letter from the Medical Consultants Mumbai on X (formerly known as Twitter).
He stated, “Typically, an FIR copy is requested in medicolegal cases. However, the insurance company waived this requirement and promptly approved the cashless request for Rs 25 lacs. The final bill, reportedly Rs 36 lacs, was also accepted. The surgery and four-day hospital stay do not justify such a large bill or the rapid approval.”
He added, “If this were an ordinary person, the company would have applied reasonable charges and denied the claim. IRDAI should clarify why Niva Bupa favored a celebrity while complicating the claims process for regular individuals.”
Meanwhile, Mumbai police have apprehended the suspect identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir.
