Jerusalem, March 27 (NationPress) The Israeli military announced that its Air Force has targeted more than 430 sites in Gaza since the renewal of its intense air and ground operations in the area.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the military asserted that all of these were terror-related targets.

The renewed assaults on Gaza, which began on March 18, concluded a two-month ceasefire and, according to health officials in Gaza, led to approximately 830 deaths. No casualties on the Israeli side have been reported, according to Xinhua news agency.

The total death count in Gaza since Israel initiated its offensive on October 7, 2023, following a Hamas attack that resulted in around 1,200 fatalities, has exceeded 50,000.

Israel has also continued its operations in Syria and Lebanon.

In Syria, Israel targeted 18 locations over the previous week, including airstrikes on Tuesday and last Thursday, focusing on strategic military assets at the Tadmur and T-4 bases, as stated by the military, which refers to the T-4 base managed by the Syrian Air Force in Homs province.

These attacks are part of an ongoing Israeli campaign aimed at dismantling Syria's military capabilities following the decline of Bashar Assad's government.

Israel has also taken control of the UN-monitored buffer zone between the two nations and several Syrian army installations atop Mount Hermon.

In Lebanon, Israel targeted over 40 Hezbollah militant sites on Saturday, labeling the assault a response to rocket fire from Lebanon towards the Galilee. Israel conducted numerous additional strikes in Lebanon, despite a tenuous ceasefire that was established in November.

Additionally, since Israel effectively ended the truce in Gaza last Tuesday, its air defense systems intercepted 14 missiles. This included six surface-to-surface missiles launched from Yemen, three rockets from Lebanon, and five from the Gaza Strip.
