Patna, April 22 (NationPress) As Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday regarding the increasing crime rates in the state, Gopal Mandal, a seasoned JD-U MLA from Gopalpur in Bhagalpur district, asserted that the RJD leader is merely a big talker seeking to blame the state government to attain the Chief Minister position.

Yadav took to the social media platform X on Monday, highlighting several recent criminal incidents occurring across Bihar, accusing the state administration of failing to uphold law and order.

In response, JD-U MLA Mandal remarked: "Tejashwi is a big talker. He accuses the government just to become the Chief Minister. There's no flaw in the security system -- the police are doing their job."

On that same day, Yadav claimed that the law and order situation in Bihar is in disarray and argued that the government's credibility has completely deteriorated.

He directly criticized the state's political leadership, stating, "Two ineffective Deputy Chief Ministers, Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, are preoccupied with determining the castes of both parties."

His remarks followed a violent incident that took place in Laharpa village of Bhojpur where a minor dispute during a wedding escalated, resulting in the murder of two individuals and injuring five others.

Mandal reflected on the state prior to 2005, adding: "What was Bihar's condition before Nitish Kumar? People were fleeing Patna. IAS officers were committing suicide. That was the jungle raj."

As speculation grows regarding CM Nitish Kumar's son Nishant Kumar entering politics, Gopal Mandal confirmed: "Nishant's entry into politics is certain. If he doesn't step in, JD-U will collapse. No one else in the party has the stature to become CM."

Mandal compared Nishant Kumar's political debut to a cinematic hero's entrance.

"Just like in films -- first the shoes, then pyjamas, knees, watch, and sunglasses -- Nishant will enter in style. Even if he doesn't run in elections, he's the future leader."
