Seoul, Feb 19 (NationPress) The US Air Force reported on Thursday that approximately 11,000 gallons, equivalent to around 41,000 litres, of jet fuel leaked from a fuel tank at the US air base located in Gunsan, a city in the southwestern region of South Korea, last month.
Personnel from the 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 8th Civil Engineer Squadron identified the spill at Kunsan Air Base on January 26, initiating an investigation to uncover the spill's specific cause, as indicated by the US 8th Fighter Wing.
