Ranchi, July 11 (NationPress) The government of Jharkhand has officially sanctioned a 6% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state employees and pensioners under the sixth pay scale. This adjustment raises the DA from 246% to 252%, effective from January 1, 2025.

The government has also scheduled the monsoon session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from August 1 to August 7, with five designated working days.
Additionally, the cabinet greenlit the acquisition of vehicles for all police stations across the state, including 1,255 Mahindra Bolero SUVs and 1,000 two-wheelers, to be procured in two phases.
