New Delhi, Dec 26 (NationPress) In observance of Veer Bal Diwas, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda made a visit to Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk to offer his prayers and pay tribute, as stated by a party representative.

Nadda remarked that the essence of Sikhism is built upon the sacrifices of its Gurus, asserting that Sikhs stand as the first guardians of the nation.

Accompanying him were Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, senior BJP leader Sardar Kuldeep Singh, Chandni Chowk Municipal Councillor Suman Kumar Gupta, and District President Arvind Garg, all of whom offered prayers at the Gurdwara Sahib, according to a statement.

Earlier in the day, BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin also visited Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi to offer prayers, marking the observance of the Shaheedi Month within the Sikh community, as reported by a party official.

Delhi BJP chief Sachdeva, Delhi Environment Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and BJP National Media Co-Convener Sanjay Mayukh joined Nabin in prayers at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, as highlighted in the statement.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid their respects on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas.

In a post on X, the Union Home Minister reflected on the extraordinary sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh's brave sons at such a young age for their faith and country, noting that their actions are a unique chapter in history.

He emphasized that the principles instilled in the Sahibzadas by Mata Gujri and Guru Gobind Singh, which laid the groundwork for the protection of humanity, remained unshaken despite severe oppressions.

HM Shah remarked that to ensure the legacy of the four Sahibzadas' sacrifices is passed down through generations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the celebration of 'Veer Bal Diwas'.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta spearheaded the Delhi government's tribute to Veer Bal Diwas on Friday at an event held at Thyagaraj Stadium.

A captivating laser and light show was also featured at Purana Qila, vividly depicting the heroic narratives of the Sahibzadas through a stunning fusion of light and sound.

The Chief Minister noted that such artistic displays serve as an impactful medium for conveying the precious chapters of history to the youth in an emotionally resonant manner.

She stated that Veer Bal Diwas represents more than just a day of remembrance; it embodies a collective commitment to instill values of courage, dignity, patriotism, and moral strength in future generations.

The special gathering at Thyagaraj Stadium was attended by Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, senior officials, school students, and a multitude of citizens.

Additionally, a booklet detailing the Sahibzadas and a commemorative postal cover, produced in collaboration with the Department of Posts, were unveiled during the event.
