Mangaluru, March 3 (NationPress) A disturbing incident has emerged from Karnataka's Mangaluru, where a 40-year-old man reportedly took his own life, claiming that a female officer from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) subjected him to sexual harassment and deception, according to police reports.
This tragic event took place within the jurisdiction of the Pandeshwara police station.
The victim, originally from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, ended his life in a hotel room.
Police stated that he recorded a video on Instagram before his tragic act, in which he voiced his accusations against the CISF officer.
Authorities revealed that the woman in question holds the position of assistant commandant in the CISF.
The deceased was employed by a private firm in Chennai, where he encountered the CISF officer.
It has been alleged that she hid her marital status and entered into a relationship with him.
The victim also accused the officer of sexual exploitation and mental harassment.
He claimed that she had betrayed him. He had traveled from Chennai to Mangaluru on March 1 to attend an event and had booked a room in the city.
Following his death, the victim's brother traveled from Uttar Pradesh to file a police complaint.
Police sources mentioned that a team will soon head to Chennai to apprehend the woman officer.

In a separate case, a 30-year-old individual reportedly committed suicide due to the alleged harassment from his wife in the Mahadevanagara area of Kalaburagi city on the same day. The deceased has been named Rakesh Biradar.

Additionally, Megha's mother and sister had reportedly threatened Rakesh, warning him of police action if their daughter encountered any issues.
On Monday morning, the couple allegedly quarreled over bringing home milk and curd. Despite attempts by family members to mediate, tensions remained.
During the confrontation, Megha purportedly threatened Rakesh with a police complaint. Shortly after, he was discovered hanging at their residence.
Rakesh's family has filed a complaint against Megha and two others at the Chowk police station.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
