New Delhi, March 14 (NationPress) The distribution and availability of LPG cylinders are on the rise in numerous cities, with both customers and suppliers reporting a return to normalcy in supplies and quicker delivery times, easing previous worries about shortages.
In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, patrons at local gas agencies mentioned that the process of obtaining cylinders has become more efficient and streamlined.
One customer shared that he had ordered a cylinder just two days ago and received it promptly. “We ordered the cylinder the day before yesterday. Today, it took us a maximum of one hour. After receiving the voucher, we submitted the slip and collected our cylinder. There was no need to wait in line,” he stated.
Delivery personnel in the city also noted that the distribution is proceeding without a hitch, resulting in fewer crowds at agencies.
“There are no queues for cylinder pick-up here. Everything is managed through vouchers, and the supply is uninterrupted,” commented a delivery worker.
Another delivery agent affirmed that cylinders booked a day prior are now being delivered within a 24-hour timeframe. “There’s no crowd here. Gas is being supplied punctually. Cylinders ordered yesterday are being delivered today,” he added.
In Etah, the situation is similarly stable. At Deepak Gas Agency, there is a sufficient stock of LPG cylinders, and customers are receiving their supplies effortlessly.

A local resident noted that a previous shortage has now been resolved. “We ordered our cylinder, and the delivery person brought it right to our home. Earlier, there were long lines outside the agency, but that’s no longer the case,” he mentioned.
Another resident stated that booking has become simpler. “Previously, I couldn’t get my cylinder booked. But just ten minutes ago, I tried, and it was booked without issue, and I received a confirmation message,” he said.
In Bathinda, residents reported that LPG cylinders are being distributed smoothly through app-based bookings.
“It’s easy to receive by booking through the app,” a local added.
Similar feedback came from Patna in Bihar, where vendors stated that supplies remain consistent and deliveries occur regularly.
Vendor Anil Kumar confirmed there is no shortage. “Those whose numbers have been called are receiving gas without any complications,” he stated.
