Gandhinagar/Nadiad, March 20 (NationPress) Residents throughout Gujarat reported on Friday that they have been receiving their cooking gas cylinders punctually, countering the state's rumors of a shortage. The government has reiterated that there is a sufficient supply of LPG available.
Mahipalsinh Parmar, living in Thasra within Kheda district, mentioned that Indane gas cylinders were being delivered consistently.
"The service operates smoothly, and deliveries occur on time without any issues," he noted.
Another consumer, Paresh Vora, confirmed that there are no service-related problems at present.
"Cylinders are delivered promptly after booking," he stated.
Nazimkhan Pathan, from Kalsar village in Bhavnagar district, echoed that he has been receiving cylinders easily and that the deliveries comply with regulations.
In Modasa, Harishchandrasinh Bhati, who runs the Khushi HP Gas Agency, stated that there is ample LPG stock available.
"Daily stock deliveries are made. Customers can order through their registered numbers and receive gas within two days. There’s no cause for concern due to rumors," he added.
The state government has assured that there is a sufficient LPG stock and urged the public to disregard the spreading rumors.
They informed that rigorous monitoring is in place to guarantee proper supply through gas agencies, eliminating the need for citizens to queue for cylinders.
"Oil marketing companies have leveraged technology for home delivery, allowing customers to book cylinders via various methods, including WhatsApp, missed calls, SMS, IVR services, smartphone apps, and official websites," officials stated.
They confirmed that adequate stock is available for both bookings and refills, with confirmation messages dispatched to customers through a well-organized digital system.
Priority is being given to domestic LPG customers, and buffer stocks continue to be increased to ensure a steady supply.
To enhance oversight, revenue and police personnel have been assigned across both public and private gas agencies to supervise LPG distribution and prevent irregularities, the government stated, emphasizing that this arrangement aims to guarantee timely delivery to consumers.
