Kolkata, April 20 (NationPress) West Bengal's Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, voiced her concerns on Monday regarding the possibility of targeted arrests of numerous Trinamool Congress workers ahead of the two-phase Assembly elections scheduled later this month. “A significant number of arrests are on the agenda. I've acquired the list. I will resist every step of the way. They are specifically aiming at Trinamool Congress members. A candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting in Birbhum district, who has amassed wealth through coal smuggling. Out of respect, I won’t disclose his name. The BJP represents a group of miscreants,” the Chief Minister remarked during a campaign rally at Murarai in Birbhum district.
