Many individuals highlighted that the emphasis on infrastructure and economic growth has significantly bolstered their aspirations for a "Vikasit Keralam."

After the Prime Minister's address, BJP members expressed their pride regarding his visit, noting that these projects have instilled hope among the state's residents.

A BJP member shared, "The Prime Minister's presence in Kerala has inspired people to consider development more seriously."

"Indeed, we are thrilled that PM Modi visited us, and we are confident that this will have a positive impact on the upcoming state Assembly elections. We are immensely proud. People are beginning to envision a Vikasit Keralam, and we believe in its realization," the member stated.

Another BJP worker, Latha, emphasized the central government's backing for farmers, particularly those in the animal husbandry sector.

"The central administration has implemented numerous initiatives for farmers involved in animal husbandry. We must acknowledge the support this government has provided to the agricultural community," she remarked.

Jagesh, a Panchayat member from the BJP, criticized the absence of the state's Chief Minister and ministers at the event, alleging that they politicize development efforts.

"The Chief Minister and other officials were not present because they constantly engage in political maneuvering. The completion of the Alappuzha Bypass was a prolonged project that the BJP government finalised, along with numerous other highway developments in the state," he explained.

He further accused the state government of claiming credit for projects completed by the central government.

"The state apparatus routinely takes credit for achievements by the Centre. However, the public is aware of the truth and is prepared for a Vikasit Keralam," he added.

Professionals who interacted with the Prime Minister also commented on the focus on development during the event.

Career specialist Dr. Venkataraman from Kerala described his discussion with the Prime Minister, which revolved around the future of education and the state's developmental possibilities.

"I had a very productive conversation with him. He emphasized several positive aspects, particularly regarding development. Beyond minor political comments, he articulated a clear vision for Kerala's advancement. It was truly inspiring, and I believe he can accelerate the development process," he stated.

Dr. Ramanantha Rao, a retired CISF officer who met the Prime Minister in Kochi, noted that development was the primary focus of their discussions.

"The central theme is development. Modi is deeply concerned about how Kerala will progress. An allocation of Rs 10,800 crore has been approved, and numerous developmental initiatives are in progress. The emphasis is on the nation and its citizens," he conveyed.

Earlier that day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the groundwork for multiple development projects in Kochi, aimed at enhancing infrastructure, energy, and industrial growth in Kerala.
