Purulia (West Bengal), April 19 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in this region on Sunday to speak at a public rally ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections on April 23 and April 29, he was welcomed by a large gathering of supporters who had braved the intense heat for hours just to see him.
Posting a video showcasing the crowd's fervor on the social media platform X, PM Modi remarked, "It’s a scorching Sunday afternoon in Purulia, yet the excitement is at a record high!"
He mentioned that the footage was captured from the helipad.
"An impromptu roadshow took place, followed by an incredibly well-attended rally," the Prime Minister noted.
To show their appreciation, several attendees had created paintings as gifts for PM Modi.
One attendee displayed his artwork, which depicted PM Modi alongside his mother, Heeraben Modi.
He shared, "I started working on this painting three days after PM Modi's visit was made public. I've spent countless nights creating these pieces for him, dedicating four nights to complete it."
