New Delhi, April 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday released a video showcasing the vibrant enthusiasm of the crowd in West Bengal, where significant numbers of people assembled near a helipad despite the sweltering heat.
Posting on the social media platform 'Instagram', the Prime Minister captioned the video: “It’s nearing noon. The heat is intense. Yet, the enthusiasm in West Bengal is soaring throughout the state.”
In the video, PM Modi states, “Dear citizens, observe the spirit of West Bengal behind me. It’s approximately 11:30 AM, marking my first rally of the day.”
He continued, “At the helipad, numerous young individuals, sisters, and mothers have come together in large numbers. This scene is genuinely remarkable. However, I must depart as people are eager for my address at the rally.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi noted that the public enthusiasm and crowd turnout in his campaign rallies in West Bengal this time exceeded anything he had experienced even in his home state of Gujarat.
“Even in Gujarat, I couldn’t have organized such a rally at this noon hour, even if I tried. You consistently draw impressive crowds here. I am truly amazed. It is evident from this gathering that changes are on the horizon for this state after May 4. These enthusiastic gatherings are just a preview of what is to come on May 4,” the Prime Minister remarked during a campaign rally in East Burdwan district, ahead of the crucial Assembly elections this month.
The two-phase Assembly elections are scheduled for April 23 and April 29, with results to be announced on May 4.
During his speech, the Prime Minister declared that if the BJP secures power in West Bengal this time, the new administration will issue a White Paper outlining instances of corruption over the past 15 years under the Trinamool Congress regime.
“The Trinamool Congress is already in a state of panic. That’s why they claim that all welfare schemes will be terminated if the BJP comes into power. I assure you that not a single welfare initiative will be discontinued. Only the avenues of corruption and exploitation by Trinamool Congress leaders will be shut down,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
He also announced that should the BJP take power in West Bengal, the first Cabinet meeting under the new chief minister will pass a resolution to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state.
“The Trinamool Congress government has long denied the people of this state access to the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Those days will end with the arrival of the BJP government,” PM Modi stated.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the new BJP administration would not only take action against infiltrators but also against those who helped them establish themselves in West Bengal by providing them with fake identity documents.
