New Delhi, May 16 (NationPress) During a visit to the Indian Air Force (IAF) base in Gujarat's Bhuj, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning to Pakistan, stating that it has been granted a temporary reprieve. However, should it revert to employing terror tactics, there will be serious repercussions.
While addressing the troops at the IAF base, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh remarked, 'Similar to how a habitual offender is monitored, we have placed Pakistan on probation. A ceasefire does not equate to inactivity. Should Pakistan continue its misadventures, our forces will deliver a decisive response.'
He emphasized that this is 'New India' and any nation or group that threatens our sovereignty will face significant consequences.
Praising the armed forces for their successful execution of 'Operation Sindoor', the Defence Minister told the personnel, 'You have demonstrated that this is a 'sindoor' not merely for adornment, but a testament to bravery and determination.
This 'sindoor' reflects your unwavering commitment to eliminate those who threaten Bharat Mata,” he elaborated.
Additionally, he highlighted India’s growing capability as a producer of military arms, shifting from a nation reliant on imports.
He stated that the world has acknowledged India's military strength post 'Operation Sindoor'. Furthermore, he underscored the shift in India's defense dynamics from being a weapon importer to becoming an exporter.
'In the past, India relied heavily on weapon imports. Today, we are producing a multitude of weapons domestically and exporting our indigenous creations to other countries,' he noted.
