New Delhi, May 16 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Friday that Operation Sindoor was merely a preview, asserting that the Indian armed forces will reveal the complete narrative at the appropriate time.
"Operation Sindoor is not concluded. What the world witnessed was just a preview, and the Indian armed forces will unveil the complete narrative when the right moment arrives," Defence Minister Singh conveyed to the air warriors and security personnel at the IAF airbase in Gujarat's Bhuj.
Criticizing Pakistan for fostering terror organizations within its borders, the Defence Minister claimed that the rogue state was compelled to acknowledge the strength of the BrahMos missile.
"Just like how any habitual offender or a criminal with a dubious past is monitored, we have placed Pakistan under scrutiny. The ceasefire does not equate to a halt in action. If Pakistan continues its reckless behavior and engages in misadventures again, our forces will deliver a decisive lesson. Again!" he stated.
Minister Singh's pointed warning to Pakistan came during his visit to the airbase alongside Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, where he commended the forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor.
"There is an old adage in our country, 'Din mein taare dekhna'. The indigenous BrahMos missile illuminated the night for Pakistan, showing 'raat ke andhere mein din ka ujala'..." he exclaimed, as the forces rallied in support.
"A mere 23 minutes were sufficient for the Indian Air Force to dismantle terrorism fostered in Pakistan. What you achieved during Operation Sindoor filled us with pride," the Defence Minister expressed to the warriors.
He further emphasized his commitment to eradicate terror and penalize their sponsors globally, reiterating India's updated security doctrine, which advocates for punitive actions rather than forgiveness for those who threaten the nation.
He also remarked to the armed forces, "Through Operation Sindoor, you have demonstrated to the world that it is not merely a symbol of decoration but of your bravery and steadfast determination."
Rajnath Singh also raised concerns regarding Pakistan's funding from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Extended Fund Facility program.
"Pakistan will allocate a significant portion of the funds received from the IMF to bolster terror infrastructure within its territory," he asserted.
It is worth noting that the IMF had disbursed the second tranche of $1.023 billion to Pakistan, which has been heavily dependent on the bailout package for its economic survival.
