We feel more confident than we anticipated, and we are thankful to the government for this. Receiving our appointment letters signifies that we can now achieve self-reliance and support our families and communities. The opportunity provided by the Prime Minister will elevate our aspirations.”
A newly appointed individual in an ITI mentioned, “I am thrilled to have received my appointment letter today.”
Another candidate stated, “Obtaining this appointment letter guarantees me a secure government position. I feel immense happiness and gratitude.”
Yet another appointee expressed, “I want to extend my thanks to PM Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for this chance. Their efforts to empower us are commendable, and I am genuinely appreciative.”
Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated several youth-centric initiatives worth Rs 62,000 crore during the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh in New Delhi, significantly enhancing education, skills, and entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth nationwide.
He also introduced multiple projects aimed at the youth in Bihar, referring to them as a “guarantee of a bright future.”
The Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh marks the fourth edition of the National Skill Convocation, held in line with the Prime Minister's vision, where 46 all-India top performers from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship were recognized.
During this event, the Prime Minister addressed the youth of Bihar virtually, focusing on essential development strategies for education, skills, and employment.
His address was attended by a full auditorium in Patna, with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in attendance.
In his speech, he congratulated the ITI students, stating, “Just a few years ago, our government initiated a new tradition of large-scale convocations for ITI students. Today, we are witnessing yet another landmark in this tradition... This ceremony signifies the importance India places on skills. Today, we are launching two more significant education and skill development projects for the youth across the country.”
“Until we dedicate ourselves to hard work and respect hardworking individuals in society, they may struggle to feel good about themselves. This event aims to shift that mindset. We embrace the principle of 'Shramev Jayate, Shramev Poojayate'. With this sentiment, ITI students should also feel empowered. This is the pathway to a brighter future,” he concluded.
