Patna, Feb 4 (NationPress) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday presented appointment letters to 6,837 newly recruited individuals, comprising 6,341 junior engineers and 496 instructors across multiple government sectors.
The ceremony took place in the communication room of the Chief Minister's Secretariat and was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with various other ministers from the Bihar government.
The government reiterated its dedication to generating employment, stating that from the goal of providing 12 lakh government jobs, 9.13 lakh job opportunities have already been created.
Post-event, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary highlighted the Bihar government's ongoing initiatives in job creation.
"From the target of 12 lakh government jobs, 9.13 lakh jobs have been offered to date. Between 2005 and 2020, 7.5 lakh individuals were employed. Nitish Kumar fulfills his commitments. The family of Lalu Prasad should evaluate their own achievements before criticizing Nitish Kumar. The credit for job creation belongs to Nitish Kumar, not the Lalu family," remarked Chaudhary.
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha described the distribution of appointment letters as a testament to Bihar's advancement under the NDA administration.
"Numerous leaders from the RJD served as ministers, and Tejashwi Yadav was the Road Construction Minister, yet no job letters were distributed during their tenure. The NDA government ensures employment for the youth," he asserted.
In a jab at Tejashwi, Deputy CM Sinha commented: "If Tejashwi Yadav intends to run for elections, he should focus on his father's 15-year rule instead of taking credit for Nitish Kumar's job efforts. Tejashwi lacks a vision or mission - his sole aim is to promote corruption."
He also addressed Rahul Gandhi's visit to Bihar, saying: "In a democracy, anyone can travel anywhere. However, the citizens of this nation will reject those born with a silver spoon and embrace only leaders who genuinely work for them."
Regarding the Delhi elections, he criticized AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, stating: "Kejriwal is a political fraud. After the elections, a BJP government will triumph in Delhi, marking the end of those who depend on deception."
