New Delhi, Feb 26 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches an impressive milestone of 100 million followers on Instagram, leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have hailed this accomplishment as a testament to his ongoing outreach efforts, dedication, and increasing resonance with young audiences both in India and globally.

On Thursday, PM Modi became the first serving world leader to achieve this remarkable feat on the social media platform.

Since joining Instagram in 2014, PM Modi has transformed his account over the years into one of the most vibrant and widely followed digital profiles among global politicians.

His consistent presence on the platform underscores a strategic outreach initiative that engages audiences in India and abroad.

In response to this development, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal remarked to IANS that this milestone highlights the Prime Minister's international reputation.

"This clearly indicates that not only in India but globally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established a unique position through his efforts and resolve, which is why he is the most esteemed leader worldwide," he stated.

Khandelwal added that the Prime Minister's dedication to enhancing India's global stature continues to resonate with the populace.

"We know that Prime Minister Modi is fully committed to establishing India as a 'Vishwaguru' and elevating the Indian economy on the global stage. His hard work, vision, and determination are pivotal in fostering public trust in him, making him the world's most popular leader," he further elaborated.

BJP National Spokesperson Tuhin Sinha connected the Prime Minister's digital success with his long-term public engagement.

Speaking with IANS, he noted, "The level of following PM Modi enjoys on social media, now extending to digital media, is typically reserved for the world’s top entertainers. His sustained popularity over the past two decades reflects how his vision resonates with the youth."

BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo emphasized that this Instagram achievement reinforces the Prime Minister's image as a widely respected leader.

"We have consistently asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader globally. His policies have significantly transformed India in the 21st century. The Prime Minister's following on Instagram, where young people are most active, indicates his appeal to the younger demographic. He stands as a youth icon," he remarked to IANS.

JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar characterized this achievement as crucial in light of increasing digital engagement among the youth.

"The younger generation is connecting through technology. Achieving 100 million followers on Instagram is noteworthy. Prime Minister Modi possesses credibility worldwide. Hence, his followers are likely to grow," he commented.

RLM MLA Madhav Anand attributed this milestone to PM Modi's international stature.

"Our Prime Minister is among the most popular leaders globally. His influence is not confined to India but spans worldwide. It is expected that his follower count will continue to rise," he stated.

Among international leaders, PM Modi currently holds the largest follower count on Instagram.

On another social media platform, X, Prime Minister Modi boasts 106.2 million followers, while his Facebook page has a following of 54 million.

These figures underscore PM Modi's extensive global reach and robust connections, especially with younger audiences worldwide.

In India, too, the Prime Minister enjoys a significant lead over other political figures on Instagram.
