The Chief Minister informed the press that due to the expected influx of devotees, special arrangements have been made to ensure adequate healthcare services. Twenty Aam Aadmi Clinics and five dispensaries are being established, with necessary medications and essential supplies sourced for these facilities.
Reflecting on the profound sacrifice of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, the Chief Minister emphasized that their unparalleled sacrifice is unmatched in human history.
He noted that although over three centuries have elapsed since this martyrdom, its emotional resonance remains strong within the Sikh community globally.
CM Mann further stated that the government would facilitate free transport for devotees within the city during the Shaheedi Sabha by introducing an inter-city shuttle bus service.
He outlined plans for 200 shuttle buses and 100 e-rickshaws to transport devotees from parking zones to Gurdwara Sahib and various other sites.
For effective traffic management, the Chief Minister revealed that they are utilizing Google's services to provide real-time updates on road conditions around Fatehgarh Sahib, enabling immediate alternative arrangements should congestion occur.
Discussing security measures, the Chief Minister stated that over 3,300 police personnel will be deployed. An integrated control center has been set up, complete with a helpline number 0176-3232838 for public assistance.
He noted that 300 CCTV cameras are being installed at strategic points to monitor any antisocial activities, with drones also on standby for aerial surveillance of the city.
To ensure reliable mobile connectivity, temporary mobile towers are being installed by telecom providers.
Additionally, a fleet of 60 ambulances and fire brigade vehicles will remain on standby to respond to any emergencies.
