Mumbai, Oct 5 (NationPress) Taking a brief respite from his hectic work schedule, superstar Rajinikanth ventured to the Himalayas for a much-needed spiritual rejuvenation.

If reports are accurate, Rajinikanth paid a visit to the Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh to pay his respects to Swami Dayananda. During his stay, the iconic actor reportedly engaged in meditation by the banks of the Ganga and participated in the Ganga Aarti ceremony.

According to further reports, the '2.0' star proceeded to Dwarahat following his time in Rishikesh.

Numerous images from his spiritual journey have emerged on social media.

In one snapshot, Rajinikanth was spotted dressed in white, enjoying a meal served on disposable leaf plates (pattal) set on a stone surface beside the road. A parked car against a scenic hilly backdrop was visible in the background.

Another image captured the superstar conversing with a group of men, likely at the ashram, followed by a photograph of Rajinikanth alongside a priest, showing his respect.

Recently, Rajinikanth expressed his condolences to the victims of a tragic stampede incident during the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) rally organized by actor-turned-politician Vijay.

The 'Kabali' actor shared on his X (previously known as Twitter), “The news about the tragic loss of innocent lives in the incident that happened in Karur is heart-wrenching. My deepest sympathies go out to the families affected. My heart aches. The news from Karur fills me with shock and sorrow. I implore the Tamil Nadu government to ensure that those rescued receive proper medical care and that the affected receive appropriate relief.”

On the professional front, Rajinikanth recently appeared in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Coolie'.

This drama, featuring Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan in prominent roles, hit theaters on August 14.
