This year’s theme centers around artificial intelligence, robotics, and civic innovation.
While addressing the attendees, the Chief Minister highlighted that the youth present were not merely contemplating technology, but actively developing solutions to enhance urban living, strengthen democracy, and foster a more capable and inclusive society.
She described this generation as one equipped to transform ideas into innovation and innovation into tangible impacts.
“The vigor, skills, and resolve of our youth from every part of the nation are India’s greatest strength,” she remarked, emphasizing that with over 60% of the population being young, India’s demographic advantage will propel the country to new heights on the global platform.
Highlighting the scale of the hackathon, Gupta noted that over 5,000 participants, selected from more than one crore applicants, symbolize the future of India’s digital landscape.
“Their thoughts will influence the future trajectory of governance, society, and the economy,” she stated, encouraging them to contribute to the development of ‘Delhi 2.0’.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister mentioned, “I participated in the ‘India Innovates 2026 World’s Largest Hackathon’. The concepts shared by the young innovators here extend beyond technology; they offered practical solutions for enhancing urban living, bolstering democracy, and empowering society.”
She added, “This is the generation capable of transforming ideas into innovation and innovation into impact.”
