Patna, April 17 (NationPress) RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav made shocking claims outside the Danapur court on Thursday, alleging a political scheme aimed at framing him in a case involving a contentious property dispute and expressing fears for his life.

Yadav, representing Danapur, asserted that certain factions within the NDA government are trying to sabotage his political future as the Bihar Assembly elections approach.

“The NDA government is determined to prevent my candidacy in Danapur. They are aware that their chances of winning diminish significantly in my presence,” Yadav informed the media.

He accused a builder, purportedly connected to police officials, of orchestrating a scheme to entrap him legally.

The controversy centers on a structure erected on disputed land. Yadav mentioned that he has faced harassment from the builder after he convened a Panchayat to mediate the issue.

“I simply called a Panchayat to address the problem. That’s when the builder turned against me. He is a disreputable individual,” he remarked.

Furthermore, he voiced his safety concerns, stating, “I fear they may attempt to eliminate me during court proceedings. If I survive, I will pursue a bail petition. They are plotting my demise.”

Yadav is recognized as a Bahubali (strongman) and holds significant influence in the Danapur area.

The case pertains to land disputes and construction matters, but Yadav argues it is being leveraged to hinder his political ascent.

His accusations are expected to intensify political discussions in Bihar, particularly as the Opposition claims the ruling NDA is using state apparatus to target political figures.

As the Bihar Assembly elections draw near, these assertions could further polarize the electoral landscape.

In the midst of escalating political tensions in Bihar, JD-U MLC Neeraj Kumar launched a fierce critique of Yadav on Thursday, labeling him a 'Bahubali' infamous for his extortion activities, and dismissed Yadav’s allegations of a political conspiracy.

“Yadav is indeed a Bahubali. He is notorious for engaging in illegal practices like extortion,” Neeraj Kumar stated in response to Yadav’s claims about the NDA government.

Kumar clarified that the district administration has not rescinded Yadav's security, asserting that it was Yadav himself who opted to decline it in favor of private protection.

“He is now lamenting about the possibility of being killed during the court hearing. He labels himself a Bahubali; why then is he fearful?” Kumar questioned.

In a sarcastic comment directed at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Neeraj added, “He ought to visit Yadav in Beur Jail and take notes on the pressure he claims is being exerted by Nitish Kumar’s administration.”

Yadav, along with his brother Pinku Yadav, Chiku Yadav, and Shravan Yadav, surrendered to the court of Judicial Magistrate Priyanka Kumari on Thursday and will be remanded to Beur Central Jail in Patna.
