Patna, Oct 14 (NationPress) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari criticized the NDA leaders' claims regarding forming the next government in Bihar, asserting that Tejashwi Yadav's actions could unveil the divisions within the alliance.
This remark follows a Delhi court ruling to frame charges against RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family in the IRCTC hotel scam case.
The Rouse Avenue Court has permitted the trial to advance against the defendants under Sections 420 (cheating) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), in addition to the Prevention of Corruption Act, after the accused pleaded not guilty.
In a conversation with IANS, Tiwari stated, “At this moment, all the fault lines within the NDA will be brought to light by Tejashwi Yadav's actions. Should he give a cue, it could result in the exit of numerous BJP leaders. The assertions from the NDA are merely bluff. Let's observe what transpires.”
Tiwari further discussed the escalating tensions within the NDA, commenting, “The cracks are beginning to appear, and unrest is on the rise. Tensions are intensifying in the NDA. The people of Bihar are eager to vote for a Tejashwi-led government focused on employment. Bihar desires a government dedicated to creating job opportunities. A significant political shift is imminent.”
He asserted that the Mahagathbandhan remains united and is ready for a strong victory.
“The Mahagathbandhan is entirely intact and will triumph with a substantial majority. The citizens of Bihar are resolute. Those in power have driven the state into a perilous situation. Now, the populace will displace this government. This year, Bihar will observe Diwali on November 14,” he told IANS.
Tiwari also responded to the situation in West Bengal regarding the gangrape of a medical student in Durgapur.
“There is a rule of law in Bengal. The BJP merely attempts to create political crises in states governed by opposition parties. Justice will be served to the victims by the Mamata Banerjee government. They will receive just and appropriate treatment,” he remarked.
