Singapore, Dec 10 (NationPress) A representative from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged both Thailand and Cambodia on Wednesday to practice restraint and work towards resolving their issues through discussion and negotiation, as stated in a ministry announcement.
The spokesperson expressed, "Singapore is profoundly troubled by the recent flare-up of clashes at the Thai-Cambodian border and the reported casualties on both sides. We urge both nations to exercise restraint and address their disputes through dialogue and negotiations, adhering to the spirit and principles of the Joint Declaration," in response to inquiries from the media.
