Mumbai, Nov 21 (NationPress) Actor Sooraj Pancholi has unveiled a new hairstyle on social media, announcing that he’s “back to short” after quite some time.
Sooraj shared two pictures on Instagram: one showcasing his long locks and the other revealing his newly trimmed hair.
He captioned the post: “It’s been a while my friend #BackToShort.”
The actor recently marked his return with Kesari Veer, a historical action film that hit theaters earlier this year. Directed by Prince Dhiman, the movie also features Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi, and Akanksha Sharma.
The narrative revolves around the Rajput warrior Hamirji Gohil, who battles against the Tughlaq empire to safeguard the Somnath Temple from devastation.
In October, Sooraj, the son of producer-actor Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, took to social media to dispel rumors that he had left the film industry.
He clarified: “There are a few articles out there stating that I have quit films… Let me clarify. That is not at all true!”
Accompanying his note were emojis representing a heart, folded hands, and a clapboard.
Sooraj has previously worked as an assistant director on films like Guzaarish directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan. He made his acting debut in 2015 with the romantic action film Hero alongside Athiya Shetty, a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 classic.
He later appeared in Satellite Shankar, released in 2019, which narrates stories of the adventures faced by Indian soldiers.
Following Satellite Shankar, Sooraj starred in Time to Dance, telling the story of an injured ballroom dancer who finds hope in a new dance partner, striving to triumph over her past.
