The actress shared her heartfelt emotions regarding this year's event in an interview with IANS. Dressed in a traditional white Bengali saree, she expressed that the occasion held profound personal significance, as it evoked cherished memories of her late father and her uncle Debu Kaka, who recently passed away. “Today is a very special day for me,” she remarked.

“It feels like my father has joined the puja.” She recalled how her father adored the Durga Puja, and stated that she felt an overwhelming sense of happiness, as if she was once again sharing the moment with him.
