New Delhi, Oct 28 (NationPress) Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles has officially unveiled its most extensive product lineup to date in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, presenting a comprehensive selection of Euro 6-compliant trucks and buses tailored for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.
This significant event, hosted in Dubai, represents a pivotal moment for Tata Motors as it aims to enhance its foothold in this region.
The newly launched range encompasses both passenger and cargo vehicles crafted to address the escalating transport and infrastructure demands of the MENA market.
Tata Motors is committed to contributing to the region's advancement with cleaner, more efficient, and innovative mobility solutions.
Asif Shamim, the Head of International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, emphasized the company's enduring relationship with the region.
“For over six decades, we have partnered in progress with the MENA region. As the area continues to expand and diversify, the necessity for smarter and more efficient mobility solutions is increasingly apparent,” he stated.
During the event, Tata Motors introduced various new buses within its passenger range. The LPO 1622 bus is available in both 11-meter and 12-meter configurations and features multiple seating arrangements ideal for school and staff transport.
This model is powered by a Cummins engine and is equipped with features like ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Cruise Control, and advanced air conditioning.
Additionally, the Starbus Prime LP 716, a 28-seater with a 3.3-litre engine, and the Ultra LPO 916, a 33-seater bus, were launched to provide safe and comfortable transport solutions for institutions and companies.
For cargo transport, the company revealed its new Ultra range of trucks, covering capacities from 7 to 19 tonnes, specifically designed for city logistics and last-mile delivery.
In terms of heavy-duty and long-distance applications, the Prima series was showcased.
The Prima 3430.T, equipped with a 6.7L Cummins engine generating 300 HP, is tailored for long-haul operations.
The Prima 3330.K tipper is aimed at construction and mining sectors. The Prima 4440.S AMT, featuring automatic transmission, allows for a fatigue-free driving experience during extended journeys, while the Prima 4040.T is ideal for logistics and equipment transport.
This launch coincides with Tata Motors undergoing a corporate restructuring. Its commercial vehicle division, TML Commercial Vehicles Limited, will soon be rebranded as Tata Motors Limited after securing regulatory approvals.
Shares of the newly formed company will be listed on Indian stock exchanges once this transition is finalized.
