Doha, June 18 (NationPress) Tata Motors has officially introduced its latest LPO 1622 bus in Qatar, aiming to enhance its footprint in the Middle Eastern market. Engineered specifically for employee transit, this marks the company’s first Euro VI-compliant bus in this region, promising exceptional performance, improved passenger comfort, and a reduced total cost of ownership, as stated by the company.
The Tata LPO 1622 bus is driven by a dependable Cummins ISBe 5.6L Euro VI-compliant engine that produces 220hp and 925Nm of torque. It is offered in two seating arrangements—65-seater and 61-seater—providing versatility for various employee transport needs.
Safety and comfort are prioritized with features such as a full air dual-circuit braking system equipped with ABS, tubeless radial tires, and a robust suspension system, ensuring road stability. Additional advanced features include Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Cruise Control, and a Multimode Switch that optimizes performance in different operational settings.
