On Wednesday, the TDP politburo decided to organize rallies in every Assembly constituency on May 16, 17, and 18.

The coalition vehemently condemned the recent horrific terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent individuals. Leaders from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP are set to take part in these rallies.

The meeting of the TDP politburo, led by party president and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, centered on a dozen important issues, including the Pahalgam incident.

While addressing the media about the politburo's resolutions, senior leader and Minister Atchen Naidu conveyed that the group expressed profound condolences to the grieving families and held a two-minute silence in remembrance of the victims.

The politburo also acknowledged the commendable actions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not only launching Operation Sindoor but also for his resolute response to terrorist threats and effectively countering the Pakistani army.

Moreover, the politburo praised the armed forces and their leadership for their decisive actions during Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.

A resolution was also passed to congratulate MLA and Tollywood actor Balakrishna for receiving the esteemed Padma Bhushan award.

Additionally, the TDP plans to conduct its annual conclave, Mahanadu, in Kadapa from May 27 to May 29, marking the first time this event is being held in Kadapa.

Atchen Naidu emphasized that Mahanadu will showcase how Chandrababu Naidu is a vital asset for the state and how Andhra Pradesh is progressing under his leadership.

The politburo accepted a proposal from party general secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh, stating that no party leader should hold a position for more than three terms. It was decided to refresh TDP's mandal-level presidents who have served for six years.
