Hubballi (Karnataka), May 16 (NationPress) Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, spearheaded the Tiranga Yatra on Friday to honor the Indian armed forces for their successful execution of Operation Sindoor in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Thousands, including BJP party workers, leaders, students, youth, and various organizations, joined the Tiranga Yatra to show their solidarity with the Indian soldiers.
The procession traversed the main roads of Hubballi city, with Union Minister Joshi actively participating by playing drums and leading the march. BJP MLAs Arvind Bellad and Mahesh Tenginakai were also present at the rally.
Pralhad Joshi remarked that the rally was dedicated to paying homage to the country's soldiers. “Some Congress leaders are making baseless comments about Operation Sindoor. However, numerous terror attacks occurred during the Congress administration,” he stated.
He emphasized the absence of political will from the Congress that is now evident under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In response to criticisms regarding Operation Sindoor and PM Modi from Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad, Joshi suggested that Lad exhibits a form of personality disorder.
“When journalists pose questions, the Congress labels them as BJP supporters. Interestingly, many Congress leaders have themselves lauded Operation Sindoor. The Congress ought to clarify its position,” Pralhad Joshi asserted.
Addressing a BJP leader's remarks about Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Joshi mentioned that the party has taken suitable action concerning the issue.
He further accused, “Congress leaders often echo the sentiments of Pakistani politicians. They have alluded to ‘Hindu terror’ and attempted to obstruct the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which benefitted Pakistan immensely.”
“After Operation Sindoor, Pakistanis are distraught and have approached America for support. Within India, some individuals continue to cast doubt—questioning the Election Commission, the Supreme Court, the Parliament, and the President. Now, they are even challenging the Indian Army,” Pralhad Joshi concluded.
