Patna, Sep 10 (NationPress) BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday launched a scathing critique of Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, along with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He accused them of being solely focused on their family fortunes while ignoring the needs of the people in Bihar.
“These leaders have little regard for the common populace of Bihar. For years, they have devoted their efforts to increasing their personal wealth. Their political agenda is centered on safeguarding their family assets rather than securing a prosperous future for Bihar’s youth,” Surya remarked to journalists at the Patna airport.
Commenting on the RJD leader’s current initiative for the 'Mai Bahin Maan Yojana', Surya stated, “This is nothing short of deceit. I can’t describe it any other way. When they were in power, they failed to deliver for ordinary citizens. Now, with their absence from power, they are trying to mislead the public with such tactics. I urge the people of Bihar to stay vigilant.”
Surya further attributed the persistent poverty and widespread youth migration in Bihar to the 15 years under RJD governance.
“The ongoing poverty in Bihar can be traced back to the poor administration during the RJD’s Jungle Raj. Even today, the migration of youth from Bihar is a direct result of the RJD’s mismanagement,” Surya added.
He directly appealed to young voters, encouraging them to shun both the RJD and Congress.
“I implore the youth of Bihar—stay cautious around these individuals. Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi cannot illuminate your future. They are only interested in securing their own futures, not yours,” he emphasized.
Surya confidently asserted that Bihar’s youth will play a crucial role in the upcoming 2025 Assembly elections.
On Tuesday, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav expressed his dissatisfaction regarding alleged threats targeting his party workers who are gathering forms from women for the 'Mai Behin Maan Yojana' as the Bihar Assembly elections approach.
Tejashwi Yadav claimed that this initiative is being unjustly targeted by the ruling party.
“We are a legitimate political entity. Our workers are collecting forms for the Mai Behin Maan Yojana. If this is deemed illegal, the government should provide written documentation. Occasionally, ministers and even Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary are imprisoning our workers, while the administration intimidates the public. This cannot continue,” he stated.
