During a regional meeting led by Union Minister of Housing and Urban Development Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday, the Chief Minister shared the state government’s aspiration to establish Hyderabad as a premier global city through a series of significant infrastructure projects.
Requesting full cooperation from the Centre, the Chief Minister noted that numerous development projects await approval.
He urged the Union Minister for prompt permissions and support for projects including Metro Rail phase two, the Musi project, the Godavari water diversion initiative, and the Regional Ring Road.
The Chief Minister informed Union Minister Khattar about the state’s zero-carbon emission strategies, which include promoting electric vehicles (EVs).

Discussions also covered the Future City project, attracting global investments in the new city, and a proposed dry port aimed at strengthening the state’s economy.
“We are not competing with other states in India; our competition is against cities like Singapore, Tokyo, and New York. This demands the cooperation of the Central government,” he emphasized.
He disclosed that the state government plans to unveil the Telangana Rising Vision Document 2047 on December 9.
“Our goal is to transform Telangana into a 1 trillion US dollar economy by 2034 and a 3 trillion-dollar economy by 2047. We aim for Telangana to contribute 10 percent to the national economy,” stated CM Revanth Reddy, referencing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to evolve the nation into a 30 trillion-dollar economy by 2047.
