KTR, as he is commonly referred to, tagged senior Congress figure Rahul Gandhi in a post addressing the '420 promises'.

"Today marks the completion of 420 days under the deceitful governance of Congress, based on the 420 electoral pledges made to the people of Telangana. It has been 420 days filled with false guarantees, unmet promises, misleading statements, and fraudulent declarations," KTR wrote.

The BRS leader expressed that Mahatma Gandhi would have felt disheartened to witness the destruction of hope and the incessant sale of lies.

"There is no greater deception than a broken promise! The people of Telangana rightfully demand answers from the AICC leadership," the BRS leader emphasized.

In the meantime, the BRS conducted a distinctive protest throughout the state on Thursday against unfulfilled commitments. To symbolize their protest against the failure to uphold promises made during the election campaign, BRS leaders and workers offered a representation at various Mahatma Gandhi statues across the state.

This protest coincided with the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, as BRS leaders symbolically presented their representations to the statues of the Father of the Nation.

Claiming that the Congress government has failed to deliver on the 420 promises made during the 2023 Assembly elections, the BRS organized this protest to mark the completion of 420 days in power.

The BRS leaders and members adorned the statues of Mahatma Gandhi with garlands before presenting their representations.

BRS leaders, along with their student wing's president Gellu Srinivas Yadav, presented a representation against the Congress government at a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hyderabad.

BRS leader and former minister E. Dayakar Rao submitted a representation to the Gandhi statue in the Palakurthy constituency within Mahabubabad district.

He accused the Congress government of failing to fulfill its promises. Dayakar Rao stated that A. Revanth Reddy is betraying farmers, who are the backbone of our nation.

Furthermore, he mentioned that Congress has also deceived women by going back on their commitment to provide Rs 2,500 monthly and a tola of gold for girls during marriage.

The BRS leader alleged that Congress has betrayed all segments of society.
