Hyderabad, July 14 (NationPress) The President of the Telangana state BJP, N. Ramchander Rao, has asserted that the progress of Telangana can only be achieved through a double-engine government, comprising the BJP at both the national and state levels.

He encouraged party members to commit to striving for the BJP's ascension to power in Telangana.

Speaking at a felicitation event in Choutuppal, organized by party leaders from the united Nalgonda district on Monday, he received a warm welcome during his first visit to the district since becoming the state BJP chief.

Rao criticized the state government for its anti-people policies, which he claimed have led to tragic outcomes for farmers, including suicides.

He noted that students are currently struggling due to the government's failure to allocate funds for fee reimbursements.

The BJP leader expressed that residents are regretting their decision to elect the Congress party and bring it to power.

He emphasized that a new era in Telangana will commence only under BJP governance, asserting that genuine progress across all sectors can only happen with a double-engine government.

Rao accused the former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government of being deeply entrenched in corruption and criticized the current Congress government for its unfulfilled election promises, resulting in widespread suffering among the populace.

He stated that the community is now looking to the BJP as the sole alternative to both Congress and BRS.

Having assumed the role of state BJP chief on July 1, Rao called on party cadres to enhance their efforts in strengthening the party.

In another note, he shared on ‘X’ that he met Haryana Governor and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. He remarked, “His invaluable contributions to the party at various stages and his warm, inspiring guidance pave a strong path for Telangana BJP’s victorious journey. His blessings will serve as an inspiration in the endeavor to build a vibrant Telangana.”
