Chennai, Aug 7 (NationPress) The third and final round of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling for general category students kicked off on Thursday, with more than one lakh eligible candidates ready to take part in this crucial phase.

As per the officials from the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), this third round will be available for students who have achieved cut-off marks ranging from 143 to 77.55.

A total of 1,05,528 general category students qualify to join this final stage.

In addition, government school students benefiting from the 7.5 percent horizontal reservation will also participate, according to their rank list and cut-off scores.

Both groups can submit their preferences for engineering colleges and courses until August 9.
