The police reported that the victims, named Mohammad Shahid (60), his son Mohammad Faiz (25), and Faiz’s young nephew, were riding a motorcycle from Dwarka to their residence in North Delhi when a fast-moving car collided with them from behind.
The force of the collision caused all three to be thrown onto the roadway, after which another vehicle reportedly ran over them.
Witnesses and family members indicated that two cars were racing down the road at the time of the crash.
“The initial vehicle hit the motorcycle, and the second vehicle ran over the victims as they fell,” a relative stated.
Both cars fled the accident scene, and their current locations are unknown.
