Saharsa, Aug 20 (NationPress) The Mukhyamantri Udyam Yojana has facilitated remarkable transformations in the lives of individuals in Bihar, helping them overcome challenging situations and alleviating their financial struggles.
In the Saharsa district, numerous beneficiaries shared their uplifting experiences regarding the scheme, highlighting how it has reduced their reliance on others.
Archana Kumari, a resident of Saharsa, who once faced significant hardships, has achieved self-sufficiency and is currently managing her own business.
She initiated a cup manufacturing venture by leveraging the Entrepreneur Scheme and has become a beacon of hope for other women in her village.
Grateful to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, she expressed her appreciation for the positive changes in her life.
Her family experienced financial turmoil after her husband lost his job in 2024. However, with the support of the Chief Minister Udyami Yojana, she started her business. Through determination and the backing of her family, she has successfully turned her life around.
Today, her business is also providing employment opportunities to others.
In an interview with IANS, she recounted the challenges of managing household expenses following her husband’s job loss.
“One day, we learned about the Udyam Yojana initiated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. I applied for the scheme and started my business with the funds I received. This initiative has completely changed my life. I am now independent,” she stated.
Her husband also reflected on their struggles after losing his job last year. Initially, they relied on his savings but later discovered the Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana through an advertisement. He secured a loan in his wife’s name, which set their business in motion.
“Our operations are thriving. Currently, we are producing cups and receiving positive feedback from the market. In the future, we plan to expand our production to include plates,” he mentioned.
